The Principal
Oxford College,

Jashoer

Subject: Application for taking action against the outsiders in the college campus

Sir,

I beg most respectfully to state that I am a student of your renowned institution. I would like to draw your kind attention to the increasing presence of outsiders within our college campus. They often roam around without any valid reason, disturb the students, and sometimes even cause unexpected chaos. This not only hampers the academic environment but also creates insecurity among the students.

We, the students, feel uneasy and unsafe due to their unnecessary gatherings and unpleasant behavior. If strict action is not taken, the situation may become worse.

Therefore, I earnestly request you to take immediate and proper steps to prevent the entry of outsiders and ensure a safe and peaceful environment for all the students.

I shall be ever grateful for your kind support.

Yours obediently,
Alindo Hasan
Student of Class XI
Oxford College

12. Answer

Price Hike

Price hike means a rapid increase in the prices of daily essential commodities. It has become a common and serious problem in Bangladesh, especially for low and middle-income people. There are several causes behind the price hike. One major reason is the shortage of supply compared to the growing demand. Natural disasters like floods and cyclones often damage crops, reducing food production. Uncontrolled population growth also increases the demand for food and daily necessities. Moreover, dishonest traders and middlemen hoard goods to create an artificial crisis and raise prices. The effects of price hike are far-reaching. It increases the cost of living and creates suffering for the poor. Many families cannot afford enough food, medicine, or education for their children. Social unrest and crimes such as theft and robbery may also increase due to poverty caused by price hike. To solve this problem, the government should monitor the market strictly and punish dishonest traders. It should also ensure a smooth supply of goods and encourage increased agricultural production. Importing essential items during times of crisis can also help. Public awareness is important to stop hoarding and black marketing. Only through combined efforts can we control the problem of price hike and ensure a better life for all.
