The facts:

This image implies the Bangabandhu Satellite, the first communication satellite in Bangladesh. The satellite is named after Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding father of Bangladesh. The satellite is designed and manufactured by A French aerospace manufacturer named Thales Alenia Space and its launch provider is SpaceX. The dream Bangabandhu Satellite was launched at 2.14 am on May 12, 2018 from the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, the USA via the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. The total cost of the project was 248 million US dollars. Two controlling stations of the satellite in the ground are at Joydebpur of Gazipur and Rangamati's Betbunia. It is the first Bangladeshi geostationary communications satellite. It provides telecommunications and broadcasting services to rural and remote areas in Bangladesh as well as other South Asian region, including India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.

My thoughts on Bangabandhu Satellite:

The successful launch of the Bangabandhu Satellite is a significant milestone for Bangladesh especially the telecommunication sector. The satellite indicates our progress and achievements in space technology on the global stage. It also showcases our country's technological advancement. It is enabling businesses and contributing to the overall economic development of Banglades.  

Therefore, I believe, Bangabandhu Satellite will have a positive impact on our economy which will save the country a huge amount of foreign currency spent on buying satellite bandwidth from foreign companies. Besides, it will also improve material data collection, weather prediction capacity, and mapping of natural resources.
