Road accidents are a common and serious problem in our country. Every day many people are injured and many lose their lives on the roads. Most road accidents happen because of careless driving, over speed, and breaking traffic rules. Some drivers do not follow traffic signals. Many people try to cross the road without using zebra crossings or footbridges. Sometimes drivers drive after taking drugs or alcohol, which is very dangerous. Bad roads and unfit vehicles also cause accidents. We should take strong steps to stop road accidents. Drivers must follow traffic rules and drive slowly. They should not use mobile phones while driving. People should use zebra crossings and footbridges to cross the road. Wearing helmets and seat belts can save lives. The government should repair broken roads and check driving licenses properly. Traffic police should be strict. If we all become careful and obey the rules, we can reduce road accidents and save many lives.
