Some Important Short Compositions for the upcoming  SSC & HSC EXAM

The Game I Like Most

My favourite game is cricket. It is the game I like most because it is exciting, healthy, and very popular in Bangladesh. From my childhood I have loved watching and playing cricket with my friends in open fields and school grounds. Cricket teaches teamwork, patience, and discipline, which are important qualities for students like us.

Cricket is played between two teams. Each team has eleven players. One team bats and tries to score runs, while the other team bowls and fields to stop them. The game needs a bat, a ball, and wickets. A match can be short like T20 or long like Test cricket. I enjoy all formats, but I like one day matches the most because they are balanced and full of suspense.

I usually play cricket in the afternoon after school. We play with simple equipment and make rules according to our space. Sometimes I bat, and sometimes I bowl fast balls. Even when I do not play well, I enjoy the game because it refreshes my mind and body. Playing cricket helps me stay active and removes stress from study.

I also love watching international cricket on television. I am inspired by Bangladeshi players who play with courage and confidence. Their success encourages young students to dream big and work hard. Cricket has given our country recognition in the world.

In my opinion, cricket is not only a game but also a source of joy and unity. It brings people together and creates friendship among players. I will always love cricket and try to play it regularly to keep myself fit, happy, and disciplined.

Cricket also helps me learn time management and responsibility in daily life. Before playing, I finish my homework and plan my routine properly. This habit is very helpful for my academic success. Moreover, cricket teaches fair play and respect for opponents and officials. Winning is joyful, but losing teaches lessons and humility. Through this game I have made many friends from different classes and backgrounds. We share happiness, teamwork, and mutual support. Therefore, cricket plays an important role in shaping my character and building a positive attitude. It also keeps me disciplined, energetic, focused, confident, and hopeful, guiding my future goals and encouraging me to balance study, health, and enjoyment in life.

Value of Time

Time is one of the most precious things in human life. We cannot see time, but we can feel its effect every day. Once time is gone, it never comes back again. So, the value of time is very great for every person, especially for students. A student who understands the value of time can become successful in life.

Time helps us to build our future. If we use time properly, we can achieve our goals easily. But if we waste time, we will face regret later. Many people think they will do their work tomorrow, but tomorrow often becomes never. This habit destroys talent, hope, and success. Therefore, we should learn to do today’s work today.

For students, time is more valuable than money. Lost money can be earned again, but lost time can never be recovered. Students should make a daily routine and follow it strictly. They should divide time for study, rest, prayer, play, and family. By doing this, they can maintain a balanced life and reduce stress. Proper use of time also improves discipline and responsibility.

Time also teaches us important lessons. It teaches patience, punctuality, and honesty. A punctual person is respected everywhere. Teachers like punctual students, and employers prefer punctual workers. Thus, valuing time helps us to gain respect and trust in society.

In Bangladesh, many students fail to succeed because they do not value time. They waste hours on mobile phones, social media, and useless activities. If they use this time for study and skill development, they can change their lives and contribute to the nation. Our country needs young people who are active, hardworking, and time conscious.

In conclusion, the value of time is unlimited. Time once lost is lost forever. So, we should use every moment wisely. By valuing time, we can achieve success, peace, and happiness in life.

Every student should remember that time is a silent teacher. It never stops and never waits for anyone. Those who respect time move forward steadily. Those who ignore it fall behind slowly. So, from today, let us promise to be careful with time and make our lives meaningful and bright. Through patience, planning, and effort, success becomes possible for all students who value time daily with honesty and discipline.

  The Duties of a Student

A student is the future hope of a nation. The main duty of a student is to study seriously and gain proper knowledge. Education helps a student to build good character, clear thinking, and a bright future. A student should attend classes regularly and listen to teachers with respect. He or she must complete homework on time and prepare well for examinations. Regular study creates discipline and confidence in life.

Another important duty of a student is to obey parents, teachers, and elders. Respect and politeness make a student a good human being. A student should follow school rules and maintain discipline both inside and outside the classroom. Being honest and truthful is also a great duty. Cheating, lying, and bad habits can destroy a student’s future.

A student should take care of physical and mental health. Playing games and doing physical exercise are necessary to keep the body fit. At the same time, reading good books helps to develop the mind. A student should avoid addiction to mobile phones, social media, and unhealthy entertainment. Proper use of time is one of the most important duties of a student.

Social responsibility is another duty of a student. A student should help classmates and weaker students whenever possible. He or she should show kindness to the poor, the old, and the disabled. Keeping the environment clean and planting trees are also good duties. A student should love the country and respect national values and traditions.

In addition, a student should develop good moral qualities such as patience, cooperation, and self control. A polite student is liked by everyone. He or she should learn to speak the truth and stand against injustice. Participating in social and cultural activities helps a student become confident and responsible.

In conclusion, the duties of a student are many and meaningful. If students perform their duties properly, they can build a better future for themselves and the nation. A responsible student is the greatest asset of a country. Moreover, a student should learn the value of time and punctuality. Waking up early, making a daily routine, and following it sincerely help a student succeed. Hard work, patience, and determination turn an ordinary student into an excellent one in life. These habits remain helpful after student life ends.

Physical Exercise

Physical Exercise is very important for a healthy and happy life. It means moving our body regularly to keep it fit and active. Exercise includes walking, running, swimming, cycling, playing games, yoga, and free hand exercises. In Bangladesh many students ignore physical exercise because of busy study schedules and attraction to mobile phones. This habit is harmful for both body and mind.

Physical exercise helps us to build a strong body. It makes our muscles firm and our bones strong. It improves blood circulation and keeps the heart healthy. A person who exercises regularly can work for a long time without feeling tired. Exercise also helps to control body weight and prevents diseases like diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure. Doctors always advise people to do some exercise every day.

Exercise is not only good for the body but also for the mind. It removes mental stress and makes our mind fresh. After exercise we feel cheerful and confident. Students who do exercise can concentrate better on their studies and can remember lessons easily. It also helps them to sleep well at night, which is very necessary for good health.

Outdoor games like football, cricket, and badminton are excellent forms of physical exercise. They give pleasure and teach discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Morning walk is also a simple and useful exercise for people of all ages. Even light exercise is better than no exercise at all.

However, exercise should be taken according to age and ability. Too much exercise can be harmful. We should maintain a regular routine and follow simple rules. Proper food and enough rest are also necessary with exercise.

For students regular exercise builds good habits from an early age. It teaches discipline, time management, and self control. When students exercise together they develop friendship and positive social behavior. Schools should arrange games periods and sports facilities. Parents must encourage children to play outside instead of sitting long hours indoors with screens. This habit improves confidence, leadership, cooperation, and helps students stay energetic throughout their academic life journey.

In conclusion, physical exercise is essential for students of Bangladesh. It keeps us healthy, active, and energetic. A sound mind lives in a sound body. Therefore, we should make physical exercise a regular habit in our daily life.
