Some Most Important  Rearrangement Of Sentence


Question 1.

(i) Once the queen of Belgium invited him to Brussels.

(ii) When he reached the destination, the queen said to him, "I sent a car for you, Dr. Einstein."

(iii) The officials also expected to see somebody who would appear to be rich and aristocratic before them

(iv) Einstein, the great scientist, was very simple in his ways of life.

(i) He was puzzled for a time.

Question 3.

(iv)A good astrologer visited the capital of the king.

(v) Once there was a king.

(vi) With ready wit he said, "The stars declare that I'll die only a week before

(vii) But another thought had crossed his mind before the astrologer was removed.

(viii) The king then asked, "How long would you like to live?"

(ix) The astrologer told something very unpleasant.

(x) He then thought for a while some ways of escape.


Question 4.

(i) All the servants were called and interrogated.

(ii) In order to find out the thief, the judge chalked out an intelligent plan.

(iii) Once a gold necklace was lost from a rich man's house.

(iv) The servants were summoned to the court but they denied having stolen the necklace.

(v) When the servants came to the court the next day, the thief had already cut off an inch of his stick.

(vi) But nobody confessed their guilt.

(vii) So the owner of the house lodged a complaint in the court,

(viii) The judge found one of the sticks shorter than the others and in this way he could easily catch the thief.

(ix) Naturally it was suspected that one of the servants had stolen the necklace.

(x) He gave each of the suspects a stick of equal length and said that one of the sticks would increase by an inch the next day.


Question 5.

(a) One day he was very hungry.

(b) The grapes were too high for him to reach.

(c) Again and again he jumped.

(d) At last he entered into a vineyard.

(e) Once upon a time there lived a fox in a forest.

(f) But each time he failed to reach at the grapes.

(g) At last being tried he went away saying that the grapes were sour.

(h) He took a run and a jump to reach the bunch of grapes but he could not reach it.

(i) He searched food everywhere but he did not get any food.

(j) There were ripe grapes hanging up on the vine.





Question 6.

(a) His friends and disciples could not bear the sight. 

(b) A few moments passed, Socrates lay down and covered his face. 

(c) At last, the hour of departure had arrived and Socrates met his friends and disciples for the last time. 

(d) A moment later, he uncovered his face and looking at Crito, said, "Don't forget the debt. Crito." 

(e) They burst into tears and cried loudly like children. With eyes full of tears, they bade Socrates a last farewell. 

(f) He asked them to let him die in peace. 

(g) At sunset, the Governor of the prison came. 

(h) Then there came a man with a cup in hand which contained hemlock, a deadly poison. 

(i) He argued with them about the immortality of the soul and told them that the soul of man cannot die. 

(j) Socrates took the cup in his hand, said his prayer and drank the hemlock without any hesitation


 Question 7.

(a) He saw Fazlul Huq was reading his lessons and tearing off the pages of his book one after another.

(b) "I am not playing. I have already gone through these pages. So. I do not need them at all." said he.

(c) He was greatly charmed at the wonderful memory of his son and thought his son would one day be a great man in the sub-continent.

(e) He at once entered the room and said, "O my boy, don't play with your book."

(f) From his boyhood, he was a very meritorious boy.

(g) His father Kazi Wazed Ali was a renowned pleader in the Barishal Bar.

(h) His father wanted to test him and so asked him to quote some lines from such and such pages of his book.

(i) Fazlul Huq quoted the pieces from memory word for word.

(j) One day while the boy Fazlul Huq was reading in his study, his father was passing by. 


Question 8.

(i) The last words of the speech are: "Government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth."

(ii) Abraham Lincoln was the President of the United States of America.

(iii) On the 10th of November 1863, a railway train was carrying him to a place called Gettysburg.

(iv) It is one of the finest and the shortest speeches in English language.

(v) He was going there to speak at a meeting.

(vi) On the envelope, it was what he was going to say at the meeting.

(vii) These words tell us what the best possible way of ruling a country is.

(viii) He was not writing on a paper, but on the back of an envelope.

(ix) In the train, he was busy writing something.

(x) In fact, the speech on the envelope is now famous as "Gettysburg Address"


Question 9.

(i)Due to this drastic change, people cannot decide what appropriately to do to fight this danger.

ii) We are witnessing a serious education crisis that was once beyond imagination.

iii) Because of the inconceivable COVID-19 disaster, the entire world is passing a very difficult time.

iv ) They also find difficulties keeping pace with this change.

v) This disaster has changed the world scenario drastically.

vi) The hope is that with the problems, some prospects are also appearing.

vii ) Our education sector is undergoing the same critical condition.

viii) However, there is a ray of hope.

ix) Online class has become a new method of learning for the students of Bangladesh

x) COVID-19 pandemic has now spread through the entire world.

(i) It became a shelter for the sufferers.

(ii) She was awarded the Nobel Prize for peace in 1979.

(iii)Mother Teresa was a dedicated soul in serving humanity and her earlier name was Agnes.

(iv) She came to India in 1929 for serving the people and started her life as a teacher in a convent school in Kolkata.

(v) Then she became an Indian citizen.

(vi) She established Nirmal Hriday at Kalighat in Kolkata.

(vii) She was born in 1910 at a small village in Yugoslavia named Skopje and she was of Albanian descent.

(viii) She decided to become a nun when she was eighteen.

(ix) Her activities spread all over the world.

(x) Sine began to serve the downtrodden
